This is the last full week of campaigning in Texas and Ohio as both Democratic candidates look to score big victories in Tuesday's all important primary which includes the delegate rich states of Texas and Ohio. Senator Obama continues to close the gap in both states and according to a recent Associated Press-Ipsos poll, overall Senator Obama has 46 percent to Clinton's 43 percent, a virtual tie. In potential matchups for November's general election, Clinton leads Arizona Sen. John McCain by 48 percent to 43 percent. However, Senator Obama's lead over the likely GOP nominee is twice that size, 51 percent to 41 percent.
Because of your outreach efforts, particularly with respect to the Latino community, Senator Obama is enjoying so much success and is poised to keep the momentum going. Keep up the good work and for those who are not members of our grassroots organization Latinos for Obama, sign up now and become a part of this historic campaign!
