On March 3, 2008, National Coordinator Luis Maes will participate in the Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network's nationally televised program "Dialogo de Costa a Costa" to discuss the dynamics of the Latino vote in the current presidential primary process. The program will air live at 12:30 pm and can be seen on Direct TV on channel 438. The program can also be seen on the channels listed at the following website http://www.hitn.org/geting_hitn_es.php.
Maes is a long time advisor to senior party officials in various Latin American countries and has conducted training workshops with party and civic leaders in Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru and the US on themes including strategic planning, party internal democracy, outreach to new sectors and transparency.
Latinos for Obama Grasroots Organization serves as a resource for Latinos all over the country, providing them the information, contacts and tools necessary to get involved with the presidential campaign of Senator Barack Obama. Through a national network of Latino activists and organizers, Latinos for Obama Grassroots Organization volunteers conduct voter outreach and education initiatives targeted at Latino communities throughout America.

Sencillamente me encanta Obama, yo estoy convencida que el es la persona que necesita este pais en la Casa Blanca, tenemos que apuntarle al cambio , pero sin miedo y el es la respuesta, ojala todo el mundo se de cuenta , dejemos de lado siempre en estar pensando en el color de la piel son sus ideas , lo que el transmite cuando habla , su seguridad , su vision del futuro de nuestro pais lo que debemos ver , yo voy a estrenar mi derecho al voto , recien adquirido , con el , no veo la hora de apoyarlo , y asi mismo muchisima gente hispana aqui en mi comunidad.
